River Imprints in Soap (2019) is a series of twelve sculptures made of soap, water and sediments. I visited twelve different river locations in and around Leipzig; at each site I took a sample of sediments and river water, and then used these samples to create sculptural works. In this way, each soap sculpture becomes a unique representation of a specific environment in and around Leipzig.
